About the Lotheni Collection
The Lotheni Collection includes four medium-format film photographs taken in the Mkhomazi Wilderness Area in the Southern Drakensberg during the beautiful snowfall of August 2021. The Lotheni River in this valley is an important tributary of the Umkomazi River, a water source for hundreds of communities downstream in Southern KwaZulu-Natal. Read more about the collection.
Only twenty-five (25) prints of each photograph in the collection are available.
Supporting Upland River Conservation
10% of the profit made will be given to Upland River Conservation (www.uplandrivers.com), an organisation actively working at removing alien invasive species, re-grassing overgrazed river banks, and educating communities within KZN’s most important river catchments to properly care for and preserve our natural water resources.
